Working closely with charity is something My 1st Years are passionate about, that is why we have teamed up with children’s charity, Rays of Sunshine. This collaboration aims not only raise money for Rays of Sunshine but show you the amazing work they are doing for children in the UK. You’ll be seeing all the work we are doing across our site, on social media, in our events and we’ll also be raising lots of money at our Head Office too!

Who Are Rays Of Sunshine?
Rays of Sunshine grants wishes to children, aged 3 to 18-years-old, living with serious or life-limiting illnesses. They believe that every child deserves to have an amazing experience where they get to put their illness on hold and be happy – even if it’s just for a day. From meeting their favourite celebrity to participating in their dream job, Rays of Sunshine really do make dreams, no matter how big or small, come true.
How Are We Working Together?
The ‘Hello Sunshine’ Collection
We have designed the perfect pieces for your little one’s summer wardrobe with our stylish ‘Hello Sunshine’ collection. We will be donating £1 from every item from the collection sold to Rays of Sunshine.
Gifting Wishers
We want to make sure that every child who sends in their wish has a special treat, so we will send every wish maker a personalised gift, made with love.
Hospital Visits
The My 1st Years team will be visiting the hospitals to gift and spend some time with the children who have serious and life- limiting illnesses. We are hoping this creates a special day for the brave children.
Events
We love to host events with our social family, press, local community and loyal customers, so from now on we will be doing small activities at each event to help raise money and awareness for the amazing work Rays of Sunshine are doing.
